Stephen M. Bush Memorial Shooting Range in Clayton, N.M. will close for repairs on Oct. 11-13, 2022

Clayton – The New Mexico Department of Game and Fish will close the Stephen M. Bush Memorial Shooting Range in Clayton, New Mexico at 3 p.m. on Oct. 11, 2022, and reopen at sunrise on Oct. 14, 2022.

The range will close to allow Department staff to safely perform repairs to the shooting berms and clean up trash and debris on the shooting range. Public access to the range will be restricted on these days.

The Department reminds the public to recreate responsibly, pack out all trash, including shell casings and targets, and to not shoot at glass or other items not designed to be utilized as targets on the range.
