November 4th Election Information and a Request

Our right to purchase, possess and use firearms came under, and has remained under, attack in the New Mexico Legislature since 2013. This is a critical election cycle where we, as gun owners and voters, have a chance to take strong action to protect the future of our Second Amendment rights in the Land of Enchantment.

The National Rifle Association’s Political Victory Fund has posted candidate ratings and endorsements for the November elections on their website https://www.nrapvf.org/grades/new-mexico/.

There are several key races for the New Mexico State House taking place right here in the Albuquerque area, in House District 15, House District 23 and House District 24, where there are clear differences between the candidates on firearms issues. It is critical that we work to elect the NRA-PVF endorsed candidates in these races: Sarah Maestas Barnes, Paul Pacheco, and Conrad James. Early voting begins on Saturday, October 18.

If you reside in one of those districts, would you be willing to post a yard sign for NRA-PVF endorsed candidates Paul Pacheco, Sarah Maestas Barnes or Conrad James, please email me as soon as possible and let me know where we can deliver one (or more, if requested) to you.

Sincerely,

Gayle Dye
NMSSA President
