HB 100 – 14 Day Waiting Period  to purchase a firearm!!!!!

On Friday, February 17th, the House Judiciary Committee will be hearing both HB100 and HB101. HB100 would impose a 14 day waiting period for all firearm sales. HB101, would ban the sale of semiautomatic rifles, and .50 caliber rifles and ammunition. Currentl owners of .50 caliber and semiautomatic rifles would have to register them with the state of New Mexico or face criminal charges. The meeting will be held in Room 309 at 1:30pmor
