Albuquerque’s Dangerous Overreach!

New Mexico Shooting Sports Association - NRA Sanction Organization
The Albuquerque City Council is reacting to recent events by issuing a blanket endorsement and support for gun control. With no real ability to change gun policy, the City of Albuquerque is taking it upon themselves to use precious time to issue a “non-binding” resolution.
To stop them from adding momentum to the anti-gunners’ efforts to limit our rights, we need to stop this legislation. Here are the actions you can take to help stop this dangerous overreach:

Step One: Call the Albuquerque City Councilors and tell them to vote NO on R-179!

District One:       Ken Sanchez       (505) 768-3183
District Two:       Isaac Benton       (505) 768-3186
District Three:    Klarissa Pena      (505) 768-3127
District Four:      Brad Winter        (505) 768-3101
District Five:       Cynthia Borrego (505) 768-3189
District Six:         Pat Davis             (505) 768-3152
District Seven:    Diane Gibson      (505) 768-3136
District Eight:     Trudy Jones         (505) 768-3106
District Nine:      Don Harris          (505) 768-3123

Step Two: Attend the Albuquerque City Council meeting when R-179 will be heard.

Monday, August 19th at 5:00 PM
Vincent E. Griego Chambers – Basement
Albuquerque/Bernalillo Government Building
1 Civic Plaza NW, Albuquerque, NM 87102

We are going to continue seeing these knee-jerk reactions, but we cannot let them win. Stand with NMSSA and for our Second Amendment rights by taking action today!

Onward,
Zac Fort
President, NMSSA
