Competition is open to all competitors.\u00a0 NRA registered match.<\/p>\n
Entry fee:<\/b>\u00a0 $50.00 adults; $30.00 juniors and collegiate.<\/p>\n
Advanced entries are preferred.\u00a0 Firing begins at 8:30. Entries accepted on match day up to range capacity.<\/p>\n
Current NRA prone rules apply.<\/p>\n
The course of fire will consist of:<\/p>\n
IRON SIGHTS: Match 1: Dewar course (20 shots, 50 yds, target A51; 20 shots 100 yds, target A-33); Match 2: 100 yds, 40 shots, target A-33); Match 3: 50 meters, 40 shots, target A-51); Match 4: 50 yds, 40 shots, target A-23\/5; 1200 aggregate Match 5.<\/p>\n
ANY SIGHTS: Match 6: Dewar course (20 shots, 50 yds, target A51; 20 shots 100 yds, target A-33); Match 7: 100 yds, 40 shots, target A-33); Match 8: 50 meters, 40 shots, target A-51), Match 9: 50 yds, 40 shots, target A-23\/5; 1200 aggregate Match 10<\/p>\n
Iron sights, any rifle Saturday; any sights, any rifle Sunday.\u00a0 State champion will be from the aggregate of both days matches MATCH 11<\/p>\n
Seniors (over 60) may elect to shoot scope both days. On Saturday, they will compete in a Senior any sight class and on Sunday they will be placed in their respective class. Senior who choose scope only will not be eligble for State Champion.<\/p>\n
NRA classification will be used (rule 19.15).\u00a0 Competitors will be grouped by age: novice (10 or younger), subjunior (11-14), inter. junior (14-17), junior (18-20), and adult (over 21).\u00a0 Less than 3 competitors will be combined.<\/p>\n
Awards: Cash awards in each match for each class , if there are 5 entries; juniors will receive medals or cash.\u00a0 A medal or trophy will be given to the aggregate winner=state champion.<\/p>\n
