These bills include a &#8220;universal&#8221; background check, an extreme risk protection order or &#8220;red flag&#8221; legislation, and a bill that would make individuals convicted of misdemeanor offenses, or subject to domestic violence protection orders, prohibited from purchasing a firearm.
