NMSSA Annual Meeting February 15, Socorro, NM

Hi Ladies and Gents,

The New Mexico Shooting Sports Association is holding its 2014 annual meeting in Socorro, NM on February 15. The letter, agenda, and registration are attached. If you are not already a member, please consider joining. If you are a member, please to attend the “event” at the Macey Center on the New Mexico Tech campus. You can join on February 15 at the meeting – or you can mail your membership now.

Last year, Sandia Gun Club stepped up and took several offices in the NMSSA. This year, we need to put our money where our mouth is and start re-invigorating the association. Why is this important? NMSSA is the state arm of the NRA – and has the responsibility of representing the shooting residents of New Mexico to the state legislature. In these days of such anti-gun sentiment, we need to
provide strong representation in Santa Fe. We also need to support the shooting sports through co-sponsoring fun and competitive matches – as well as funding skills and safety classes.

Your support at the annual meeting will be invaluable as we continue our leadership of this association that has been dormant for the last last few years. We must stand together and fight the anti-gun movement.

We are looking for a Treasurer, and Executive Officers to lead the following activities:
Education and Training
Class III Firearms
Silhouette Shooting, and
Cowboy Action
