New Mexico State Air Pistol Championship

Directions to the range: New Mexico Tech Gym basement classroom 1, New Mexico Tech Campus, Socorro, NM.
Competition is open to all competitors.
Entry fee: Adults $20.00, Juniors $5.00. Two-man teams $10.00/team.
Advanced entries are required. Firing times can be arranged by contacting Virginia McLemore (See general information). Friday’s relay will start at 6 pm. Saturday Relays are at 11:00, 1:00, and 3:00. Sunday 1:00, 3:00
The course of fire will consist of: 75 minutes for 40 shots. Target B-40. Any air pistol. Distance is 10 meters (33 feet). Coaching is not allowed.
Current NRA international air pistol rules apply.
NRA classification will be used. Competitors will be grouped by age: novice (10 or younger), subjunior (11-14), inter. junior (14-18), junior (18-20). Unclassified, senior and woman class will be used if more than 3 competitors. Less than 3 competitors will be combined. Coaching will not be allowed.
Awards:Â Ribbons and trophies for each class.

The course of fire will consist of: 90 minutes for 60 shots, offhand. Target AR-5/10. Any air rifle, metallic sights. Distance is 10 meters (33 feet). Coaching is not allowed.
Current NRA international air rifle rules apply.
Competitors will be divided into sporter (retail under $250, no spirit levels) and precision class air rifle. Both groups will be eligible for State Champion.
